The Fifth Sunday of Easter is also known the 4th Sunday after Easter (Dominica IV post Pascha) or Cantate, after the introit

In the three-year Lectionaries the Gospel of John 16:5-14 ("I go to the Father") is replaced by John 14:1-12 (the way, the truth and the life, Year A), John 15:1-8 (the true vine, Year B), and John 13:31-35 ("A new commandment", Year C).
