Sepulcrum Christi viventis, et gloriam vidi resurgentis:
Angelicos testes, sudarium, et vestes.
Surrexit Christus spes mea: præcedet suos in Galileam.

Tell us, Mary, what did you see on your way?
"I saw the tomb of the living Christ and the glory of the risen one,
the witnessing angels, the funeral shawl and clothing.
Christ my hope has risen: he has gone before his own people into Galilee.
