Dal dì ch’io vi mirai ferito e preso.
Et hor bramoso miro
Se per me con pietà fa t’un sospira
Il vostro divin sguardo
Fa fiamma al miser cor, e laccio e dardo.
Hor preso, arso e piagato,
Soccorso attendo, tristo e sconsolato.
Del cor che sani un poco
La piaga, o il laccio rompa, o scemi il foco,
Una minima dramma
Non fia se non ch'il stringe, o punge, o in fiamma.
Il vostro ardente lume,
Possente al maggior gelo, arder un fiume,
piago, strinse, arse il core;
