Gloria, laus et honor tibi sit, Rex Christe Redemptor.
Cui puerile decus prompsit hosanna pium.
Israel es tu Rex, Davidis inclita proles:
Nomine in Domini, Rex benedicte, venis.
Plebs Hebræa tibi cum palmis obvia venit:
Cum prece, voto, hymnis, adsumus ecce tibi.

Glory, praise and honour to you, Redeemed King.
to whom the children sang their glad hosannas.
You are the King of Israel, of David's royal lineage:
a blessed king, you come in the name of the Lord.
The Hebrew people went out to meet you with palms:
See how we greet you with prayers, vows and hymns.
