Honestum fecit illum Dominus, ut custodivit illum ab inimicis,
et a seductoribus tutavit illum: Et dedit illi claritatem aeternam.
Descenditque cum illo in foveam, non dereliquit eum,
et in vinculis non dereliquit eum. Et dedit illi claritatem aeternam.

English.png English translation

The Lord made him honourable, so that he kept him safe from his enemies,
and defended him from seducers: And he gave him everlasting glory.
And he went down with him into the pit and did not abandon him,
And did not leave him in chains. And he gave him everlasting glory.
