Latin.png Latin text

O beatae viae, o felices gressus
quibus elaborando,
quibus peregrinando
celestem gloriam,
dilectam sponsam querebas.
O fortunati sudores tui,
beatae Roche qui tibi
honores aeternos donat.
O peregrinae nos peregrinos
aspice, adiuva
nosque a culpae morbo libera.
Sit tibi anime salus
sit tibi laus, sit tibi honor perpetuus.
Nos tua cantemus merita
et nostras exaudi preces.
Alleluia!

English.png English translation

O blessed steps, O happy paths,
the pilgrimage road
by which you seek
heaven's glory
and your beloved spouse!
O beads of blood,
O sacred jewels
which earn you unending honor!
O pilgrim,
guard us pilgrims
and keep us from the plague of sin.
O soul,
be well,
be praised,
be honored forever.
May we sing your glories,
and may you hear our prayers.
Alleluia!
