Luther's tune, Bach's harmonization

The hymn tune "Ein' feste Burg" was composed by Martin Luther, to be sure. However, the harmonization given here is due to Johann Sebastian Bach. As far as I know, Luther never provided a harmonization, and the rhythm of his tune is quite different from that in the Bach harmonization. The original rhythm is most likely represented in a harmonization due to Hans Leo Hassler that is found in many hymnals, especially Lutheran hymnals. – Chuck_talk Giffen_♫ 15:05, 23 July 2012 (CDT)
