Error in Celebe Barros Full Score

In movement 2, first violin, mm.63-66 should be displaced to mm.64-67. Otherwise this edition seems excellent. Many thanks to the editor.Cannonesque (talk) 11:15, 17 September 2012 (CDT)

Score Errors Corrected

This page contained a description of score errors that were then corrected by the editor (thank you, Jim). The contents of this discussion page have been deleted as not relevant any more, and even misleading if one understood that such errors were still present. Please note a remark hereafter by Jennings that may help you to identify whether you downloaded an outdated version in the past. Max a.k.a. Choralia 11:19, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

N. B. everybody: If you have a copy of any of the files of my edition of the Magnificat and it was created before the 7th of August, 2009, it is out of date. In that case, you might want to consider downloading the current version. Note also that you will not find the current version on the CPDL server). Jennings 16:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

new errors: Quia Respexit

 Help

Score 4398 Quia Respexit in Noteworthy composer format w/Piano Accompaniment: Vocal line m18: should be a, d, up to an e. Piano accompaniment m 1: should start dcedcba#. This is per every recording/performance I've heard and the Peters and Schirmer's edition. I think there may be other errors.

"New" Errors Corrected

Sure enough, the errors were there. I believe that I have now fixed them. In the future, please email me, if you want any errors to be corrected expeditiously. You say "I think there may be other errors". There may well be (probably are) others. If and when you find them, please let me know. You say elsewhere that you are "eternally in the proofing stages". I am afraid that is just the way things are. I hope that you won't wait until it is perfect before you post your next contribution, since the perfection may never come. Thanks for updating this so quickly, and the encouragement not to wait for perfection in my own score editing. Every time we have singers sing through my few editions, we see new errors.
I'd be content if the rate of errors merely reduced, even if it doesn't work all the way down to zero. One of these days... -- Vaarky 06:53, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
Oops, in m18, the first note for the sop should be A rather than B. -- Vaarky 06:59, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

All fixed (I hope). The great thing is that things that are not perfect can still be useful. Yes, hopefully, we are getting closer to that perfection. Jennings 02:25, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
