Misattributed? Says who? The NJE thinks the attribution to Josquin is solid; two manuscripts and three printed sources back that up. On what grounds should we question it? Jmkelly (talk) 02:25, 18 December 2019 (UTC)

I'd forgotten that NJE accepts it: most of the notes I added to Sortable list of Josquin des Prez compositions#Masses were from NG, but possibly the Werbecke theory comes from David Fallows' Josquin (2009) which I read last winter. The Stanford JRP lists UMdB under "Josquin (not secure)". A bibliography does seem warranted though!Richard Mix (talk) 06:43, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
