Talk:O vos omnes (1611) (Carlo Gesualdo)
Please note that Gesualdo set the words for O Vos Omnes at least three times. It appears in a 6-voice setting in the Responsory for Holy Saturday, but also in a 5-voice setting in a collection of Sacre Cantiones. The latter of these might be more well-known.
Obviously, the words were pretty important to him, wallowing in the self-pitying guilt which made his (and his second wife's) life a misery. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Anthony linden jones (talk • contribs) on 14:20, 10 September 2006.
