Latin.png Latin text

Te laudamus Domine omnipotens,
qui sedes super Cherubim et Seraphim.
Quem benedicunt Angeli, Arcangeli;
et laudant Prophetae et Apostoli.
Te laudamus Domine orando,
qui venisti peccata solvendo.
Te deprecamur magnum Redemptorem,
quem Pater misit ovium pastorem.
Tu es Christus Dominus Salvator,
qui de Maria Virgine es natus.
Hunc Sacrosanctum calicem sumentes,
ab omni culpa libera nos semper.

English.png English translation

We praise Thee, almighty Lord,
who sits upon the Cherubim and Seraphim.
Whom the Angels and Archangels bless
and the Prophets and Apostles praise.
We praise Thee, Lord to be entreated,
who has come to dissolve sins.
Thee we pray, the great Redeemer,
whom the Father sent as shepherd of the sheep.
Thou art Christ the Lord and Saviour,
who is born of the Virgin Mary.
This holy Chalice claiming,
from all sin, free us forever.
