Description: For Men of Every Nation is a Christmas Anthem written and arranged for SATB but is easily adapted and usable in congregational singing. (See the Anthem version following the SATB score.) (Note that 'Men' means all of human-kind in scriptural context.)

The music of the verses is original and focuses on the person and work of Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God, the Seed of Abraham, the Savior of All Men and redeemer of them that believe. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The chorus section presents a collage of four traditional Christmas carol first lines, communicating the Joy of our God leaving his throne to become our saviour, and worthy of all praise:
a - Joy to the World
b - While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks
c - Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne
d - O, Come Let Us Adore Him

This was originally used as part of a Christmas Cantata including a segue to an original SATB rendering of 1 John 4:10-11, "Herein is Love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

This is intended to encourage all believers to Rejoice in the Lord Always!

1. For men of every nation Christ came to Earth,
The author of salvation to a lowly birth.
and wise men saw the star that would lead to the humble bed,
and the Angels rejoiced at the Seed that would bruise Satan's head.

(Chorus)
Joy To The World! While Shepherds watched their flocks,
Thou didst leave Thy Throne and Thy Kingly Crown!
Let all Nations Sing; He is Born a King!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! O, Come let us adore Him!
Christ, the Lord.

2. All we like sheep have gone astray, turned our own way,
This child, the sacrifice for sins in a manger lay.
and He, the Christ, to whom every knee on the earth shall bow
was denied every comfort despised, as a stone disallowed.

(Chorus)

3. The King of Kings, Eternal. The Prince of Peace!
Incarnate God of Abraham. Shepherd of the sheep.
Ye Nations Praise the Lord!
for His goodness to all the Earth!
Let us Praise Thee, Oh Lord,
Let show forth Thy marvelous Works.

(Chorus)
