1. 'Tis finished! Lord, Thy cry I hear
That awful night on Calvary!
I seem to see my Jesus dear,
stretched on the Cross to die for me!

2. 'Tis finished! All the Father's
Will Accomplished for this World of sin!
The cruel nails, the darkness still,
Joy evermore the Heav'ns Within!

3. 'Tis finished! see Sweet Mary there
Near to the Cross in sorrow bow!
She gives to Thee her tender care,
Smoothing With tears Thy pallid brow!

4. 'Tis finished! Christ hath paid it all!
Redeemed us through His precious love!
My heart, unheeded shall He call,
Shall I not go to Christ above?
