Description: A four part villancico with a very high first soprano part. Although the 4th part is described as "tenor" the manuscript uses the alto clef for it. It is within the contralto range and is quite high for a tenor. It is possible, therefore, that the work as a whole was intended for women's voices.

English translation When ascending into heaven the triumphant redeemer creates briliant light in the sky. The earth produces flowers which made up a splendid array. There is nothing greater, there is nothing more beautiful. It shone clearly in the darkness. There is no other such immense power. |
