Description: Words by Isaac Watts, 1709, his Hymn 14 of Book 2. Holden's composition incorporates the first two two stanzas of Watts' hymn, so although Watts' hymn is S. M. (66.86.), Holden's composition is S. M. D. (66. 86. 66. 86.).
