Description: Setting of Psalm 42 in the metrical New Version, from p37 of John Broderip's A New Set of Anthems and Psalm Tunes, London: [1745]. Clefs in the source are treble, alto, tenor and bass. Hymn Tune Index tune number 1786.

The same text was set to different music by John Broderip in his later collection Psalms Hymns and Spiritual Songs, London: [1769].
