Description: First published in The Sacred Musician, 1804, p. 33, for three voices: Treble-Tenor-Bass. Words by Isaac Watts, 1719, his paraphrase of Psalm 116, with six stanzas. Child used the first two stanzas of Watts' paraphrase in his composition.
