Description: Originally published by Jeremiah Ingalls in 1805, for three voices in D minor, entitled Honor to the Hills. A folk hymn (Jackson 1935a, no. 142), based on a 17th-century ballad, Captain Kidd. This arrangement by Alexander Johnson formed to basis for the three-voice Captain Kidd in Southern Harmony, page 50.
