The Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time uses the same propers as the Domenica infra Octavam Corporis Christi or Sunday within the Octave of Corpus Christi. The parable of those who would not come to the banquet (Luke 14:16-24) is replaced in the three-year lectionary by the servant of two masters (Math. 6:24-34, Year A), the new wine in old wineskins (Mark 2:18-22, Year B), and the blind leading the blind (Luke 6:39-45, Year C).
