Christ, whose glory fills the skies is a hymn by Charles Wesley. It was first published in John and Charles Wesley's Hymns and Sacred Poems in 1740, where it is titled 'A Morning Hymn'.

Christ, the true, the only Light,
Sun of Righteousness, arise,
Triumph o'er the shades of night;
Dayspring from on high, be near;
Day-star, in my heart appear.

Dark and cheerless is the morn
