Description: “De nativitate melodia et de omnibus sanctis. Textus de nativitate et subtus textus de omnibus sanctis secundum rubricam Romane curie”. Transcribed from the Trent manuscript tr89. The time signatures, notes' values, accidentals and colourings are as in the manuscript. The coloured notes are in “proportio sesquialtera” (3 vs. 2). The Tenor has the Gregorian melody almost litterally. Only the 2nd verse is underlaid to the Superius and the Tenor, the 4th and the 6th verse “de nativitate” and three verses “de omnibus sanctis” are written at the bottom of the page. The notes' values within the "ligaturæ" are as follows: the left upstemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed notes are breves – the right downstemmed notes are longæ. The “musica ficta” suggestions are in the MIDI and MusicXML files.

Latin text
De nativitate
(Christe, Redemptor omnium,
ex Patre, Patris unice,
solus ante principium
natus ineffabiliter.)
Tu lumen, tu splendor Patris,
tu spes perennis omnium,
intende quas fundunt preces
tui per orbem famuli (servuli).
(Salutis auctor, recole
quod nostri quondam corporis,
ex illibata Virgine
nascendo, formam sumpseris.)
Hic præsens testatur dies,
currens per anni circulum,
quod a solus sede Patris
mundi salus adveneris.
?Hunc cælum, terra, hunc mare,
hunc omne quod in eis est,
auctorem adventus tui
laudat exsultans cantico.)
Nos quoque, qui sancto tuo
redempti sumus sanguine,
ob diem natalis tui
hymnum novum concinimus.
(Iesu, tibi sit gloria,
qui natus es de Virgine,
cum Patre et almo Spiritu,
in sempiterna sæcula. Amen.)
De omnibus sanctis
Gentem auferte perfidam
credentium de finibus,
ut Christi laudes debitas
persolvamus alacriter
Beata quoque agmina
cælestium spirituum,
præterita, præsentia,
futura mala pellite
Martyres Dei incliti
confessoresque lucidi,
vestris orationibus
nos ferte in cælestibus
