Description: Transcribed from the Trent manuscripts tr87. The keys, notes' values, accidentals and colourings are as in the manuscript, the coloured notes are in “proportio sesquialtera” (3 vs. 2). The time signature is missing, the “tempus perfectum” has been assumed from the context; the perfect notes and rests have been dotted and ties have been used for the notes’ values that cannot be exactly represented. The notes' values within the "ligaturæ" are as follows: the left upstemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed notes are breves - the right downstemmed notes are longæ. The "musica ficta" suggestions are in the MIDI and MusicXML files.

Christi nutu sublimato
Lamberto demus beato
Simphoniae modulos
Celsi qui fuit generis
Traiectensibus ab heris
Primos carpens flosculos.

A Landwaldo post instructus
Sancto flamine conductus
Ignem lini fert veste
Per hunc fons scaturizavit
Extros et non suos pavit
Sed hic fluit hiis meste.

Cathedralem post honorem
Vitae scandit ob decorem
Ast pro fide pugnavit
Quo privatur abs vitio
Admiratur religio
Prae cruce dum se stravit.

Ex hinc ipse restitutus
Sede mansit sua tutus
Pro reprobis precando.
Adultrina multum spernens
Ac salutem regis cernens
Eius proba dampnando.

Precemur Christi athletam
Ut non ducat nos ad metam
Iniquorum incursus
Sed cum sumus in peccatis
Colocando cum beatis
Dominus lavet rursus.
