Come piena d'humor puro e celeste,
Conca del indo mar pompa et honore,
Apre le sue richezze e mostra fuore,
Il bel ch'a gl'alti Regi orna le teste,
Gioiss'il Dio de l'onde e corron preste,
A vagheggiar d'ogni bellezza il fiore,
Vaghe d'haver d'oriental colore,
Ricche le Ninfe il crin ricche le veste.

Cosi costei ch'aprir al mondo volse,
Le sue ricchezze e far al sol palese,
Quanta bellezza in lei luce s'accolse,
Col divin parte meraviglia rese,
A l'altre poi di novo il pregio tolse,
E da se stessa il bel essempio prese.
