Description: This tune was first published by William Walker in his Southern Harmony, 1835, for three parts; Walker added an Alto part in 1867. This edition published in The Hesperian Harp. A note in The Hesperian Harp says "Parts by W. H.," which means Hauser wrote the Treble, Alto, and Bass parts to Walker's Tenor. Words by an unknown author, apparently first published in Southern Harmony, 1835, with five stanzas.
