Life

Born: ca. 1545, Rimini

Died: ca. 1595

Biography:

Italian hermit friar, organist, lutenist, composer, and compiler of musical anthologies. Born in Rimini, hence the da Rimini sometimes appended to his name. As a priest, he was also known by the title Father Cornelio (Padre Cornelio in Italian). Published two anthologies in 1570. He arrived in Valvasone in 1571 as organist of the cathedral (of which he was also administrator for some time) and musician of the Count's court.
