General Information

Title: Credidi propter quod locutus sum
Composer: Antonio de Salazar
Lyricist:

Number of voices: 7vv   Voicing: S.SAT.SAT

Genre: SacredMotet

Language: Latin
Instruments: Basso continuo

{{Published}} is obsolete (code commented out), replaced with {{Pub}} for works and {{PubDatePlace}} for publications.

Description: A motet apparently meant for 7 singers. Although each of the 3 choirs has a bass part (for a total of 10), the intention seems to have been that these would be played by instruments only, since the lyrics were not entered for those parts. The work is very similar in style to Cum invocarem (Francisco_Valls).
