Description: The music of this motet has been composed by Justus Wilhelm Lyra (1857). The original lyrics were Latin ("Ipse deus pastor meus"). But as these original Latin lyrics (i.m.o.) did not fit very well to the music, I replaced them by some German lyrics I wrote, based on Psalm 86.

und ewiglich Ehre deinem Namen,
denn deine Güte ist groß über mich,
und meine Seele hast du errettet aus der tiefen Hölle.
Du mein Gott stehst mir bei,
du mein Gott tröstest mich.
