- Editor: David Fraser (submitted 2006-11-15). Score information: A4, 1 page, 68 kB Copyright: CPDL
- Edition notes: The original publication is in short score with underlay fitted only to the soprano part, thus serving equally well solo/unison voices with piano or organ accompaniment: hence some minor editorial decisions have been required to underlay the three lower parts in this SATB edition.
- This edition included two versions of the hymn, as published in 1919 and as in Nielsen's manuscript. Many thanks are due to Iman de Zwarte for deciphering Nielsen's handwriting and hence allowing the second stanza to be included.
- (Revised edition 28/11/06 - thanks to Christian Mondrup for pointing out typo (af, not av in last line, verse 2)

Original text and translations
Danish text
Der er en Bøn paa Jorden,
som, bedet ret med Fynd,
kan dæmpe mer end Torden,
udsletter Skyld og Synd,
ja, drager ned Guds Rige
til os og vore Lige
med al dets Herlighed
Den Bøn har ene Hjemme
hos Guds enbaarne Søn,
som laane vil sin Stemme
til hele Adams Køn,
vil det med sig forene,
saa Gud faar Børn af Stene
og evig Pris af Støv.
