Deus, qui beatum Marcum Evangelistam tuum,
evangelicae praedicationis gratia sublimasti
tribue quaesumus, ejus nos simper
et erudition proficere
et oratione defendi.
Alleluia.
English translation
O God, who blessed Mark, your Evangelist,
with the grace of preaching the gospel:
grant us that we may be follow his instructions
and profit by his teaching
and be defended by his prayers.
