Aspiciens a longe,
vidit crucem et dixit:
"Salve crux,
suscipe discipulum eius
qui pependit in te
magister meus Christus."

A virtuous teacher and friend of God,
Andrew was led to the cross.
Looking from afar,
he saw the cross and said:
