Domine Jesu Christe, respicere digneris super me miserum peccatorem,
oculis misericordiae, quibus respexisti Petrum in atrio,
Mariam Magdalena in convivio, et latronem in crucis patibulo.
Concede mihi omnipotens Deus, ut cum Petro digne fleam,
cum Maria Magdalena perfecto amore te diligam,
et cum latrone in saecula saeculorum te videam.

English.png English translation

O Lord Jesus Christ, vouchsafe to cast on me, miserable sinner,
those eyes of pity, which saw Peter in the courtyard,
Mary Magdalen at the feast, and the thief upon the cross.
Grant me, omnipotent God, worthiness that I may weep with Peter,
may hold you in perfect love with Mary Magdalen,
and may, with the thief, behold you evermore.
