French text Du fond de ma pensée au fond de tous ennuis à toi s'est adressée ma clameur jour et nuit. Entends ma voix plaintive Seigneur, il est saison ton oreille ententive soit à mon oraison.

English translation From deep within my breast Where deep is my dismay To you I have addressed My plea both night and day. My plaintive voice please hear O Lord, the time is fair For your attentive ear To hear my humble prayer. Translation by Thomas Daughton
