Source of text is Acts 2:1-4 (altered). Variant 1 based on John 20:19. The Liber usualis gives only a short antiphon for the 1st psalm at Vespers of Pentecost, "Dum complerentur dies Penecostes, errant omens paritur dicentes, alleluia."

Latin text 2:1 Dum complerentur dies Pentecostes, erant omnes in eodem 2:2 et factus est repente de caelo sonus tanquam spiritus vehementis, et replevit totam domum, ubi erant sedentes.
2:4 et repleti sunt omnes Spiritu Sancto et caeperunt loqui variis linguis Variant 1 John 20:19 Dum ergo essent in unum discipuli congregati, propter metum iudæorum 2:2 sonus repente de coelo venit super eos, tamquam spiritus vehementis, et replevit totam domum. Variant 2 2:1 Dum complerentur dies pentecostes erant omnes unanimiter in eodem loco. 2:2 Et factus est repentem de caelo sonitus tanquam sonitus venientis flatus vehementis et replevit totam domum ubi erant sedentes. 2:3 Et visae sunt illis disectae linguae velut igneae, seditque super singulos eorum: 2:4 Ac repleti sunt omnes Spiritu Sancto. English translation 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, Variant 1 John 20:19 When therefore the disciples were gathered together in one for fear of the Jews, 2:2 a sound from heaven came upon them, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
