Patres vestri manducaverunt manna in deserto, et mortui sunt.
Hic est panis de cælo descendens: ut si quis ex ipso manducaverit, non moriatur.
Ego sum panis vivus, qui de cælo descendi.
Si quis manducaverit ex hoc pane, vivet in æternum:.
English translation
I am the bread of life.
Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat of it and not die.
I am the bread of life, which came down from heaven.
If anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever.
