1 Egredietur virga de radice Jesse et flos de radice eius ascendet.
2 Et requiescet super eum spiritus Domini: spiritus sapientiae et intellectus, spiritus consilii et fortitudinis.
English translation
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots.
2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might.
