Et statim, ascendens de aqua,
vidit coelos a pertos.
Et spiritum tam quam colum
bam descendentem et manentem in ipso,
et vox facta est de coelis:
tu es filius meus dilectus in te compla cui.
Dutch translation
Maar onmiddellijk steeg Hij uit het water op
en zag de hemel geopend
en de Geest op zich neerdalen als een duif.
En er kwam een stem uit de hemel:
Gij zijt mijn welbeminde Zoon,
in U heb ik welbehagen.
