Eremita (a family name) worked as an organist in Rome for Cardinal Luigi d’Este ([[Marenzio]]’s employer) from before 1576 until at least July 1581. Anthologies of the 1580's as well as his own publications suggest a connection to Ferrara, but little else is known.
