Hodie nobis coelorum rex de virgine nasci dignatus est
ut hominem perditum ad coelestia regna revocaret.
Gaudet exercitus angelorum quia salus aeterna humano generi apparuit.

English translation
Today the king of heaven is born unto us, worthy to be born of a virgin,
so that he might restore fallen man to the kingdom of heaven.
The army of angels rejoices, since eternal salvation has appeared for all mankind.
