Biography Pierre Joseph Hubert Cuypers was a dutch organist, choral director and composer. Studied in Aachen, and in Amsterdam with Bernard Zweers. Composed songs, stage music and choral works. From 1924 to his retirement in 1955 he was cantor at the Sint-Agnes church in Amsterdam. Not only did he play the churches' Claveaux organ, he also contributed with expert advice to its construction. Cuijpers was also an excellent teacher.
