Jesus, wunderbarer König
und edler Triumphator,
unaussprechliche Süßigkeit,
ganz Ersehenswerter.
Unaufhörliche Liebe [ist] Jesus
mir, unablässige Sehnsucht,

An welchem Ort ich auch sein mag,
immer ersehne ich Jesus,
nach der Liebe Jesus* schmachte ich

*so steht es im anscheinend fehlerhaften Text; es sollte wohl entweder "nach der Liebe Jesu" oder "in Liebe nach Jesus" heißen
