Italian text Intorno a due vermiglie e vaghe labra di cui rose più belle non ha la Primavera, volan soavi baci a schiera a schiera. E son più ch’a le stelle in ciel puro e sereno, più ch’a le gemme de la terra in seno. Motti sonori od amorosi o casti, tra tanti un mi negasti, spietato un bacio solo, tu, che non spieghi a volo, Amor, insidiando a baci, sì come augei rapaci che, sol imaginando han già rapita quest’alma e questa vita. Tendi l’insidie, tendi, et un almen tra mille ardito prendi.

English translation Around two vermillion pretty lips, more beautiful than any rose that blooms in Spring, sweet kisses fly in flocks. And they are more than the stars in the clear, serene sky, more than the gems in all of Earth. Among the many resounding words, loving or chaste, you denied me one, a single kiss, cruel man, who do not spread your wings, Love, ambushing with kisses as if you were a bird of prey, and have by sheer imagination captured my soul and life. French translation Autour de deux belles lèvres vermeilles, plus belles que toutes celles qui fleurissent au printemps, volent des suaves baisers par nuées. Et ils sont plus nombreux que les étoiles dans un ciel clair et serein, plus que les gemmes au sein de la terre. Entre ces maints messages sonores, amoureux ou chastes, tu m'en as refusé un, cruel, un seul baiser, toi qui ne déploie pas ses ailes, Amour, qui tend les pièges par les baisers, comme un oiseau rapace as par ton imagination déjà capturé cette âme et cette vie. Czech translation Mezi dva líbezné rudé rtíky, krásnější nad každou růži, kterou jaro vykouzlí, zalétají hejna horkých polibků a je jich víc, než hvězd na jasné noční obloze a víc než pokladů v lůně Země. A odtud slova, vášnivá i cudná, a jedním z nich mne odmítáš. Jak bezcitně jsi uchvátil mou duši i mé tělo, Érote, jako dravý pták, ty, jehož šípy se nemýlí, tak nelítostný k milujícím. Dál si stroj své úklady, posluž si! Ale jen jedinou mezi tisící vášní rozpal.
