Biography

Israel Holdroyd was an English music compiler and composer of sacred music. He lived in Halifax, West Yorshire, England. Though little is known of the man, several pieces of his music are famous and very often printed and sung: Wells (Psalm 100) and Rochester (Psalm 34). There is no Wikipedia page.
