Description: A long set-piece, that starts and ends in C major, but the middle part wanders into different harmonic territory. Labeling of staffs (T|C|MA|B) is repeated several times in the piece, that usually appears only at the beginning; the reason for this is unknown. Words by Isaac Watts, 1719, paraphrase of Psalm 50, Part 6, in fifteen stanzas. Swan used the first five stanzas in his composition.
