Stiamo amor a veder la gloria nostra,
Cose sopra natura alter' e nove,
Vedi ben quanta'n lei dolcezza piove,
Ved' il lume che'l ciel in terra mostra,

Vedi quant' arte dora e imperl' e' nostra,
L'habito eletto e mai non vist' altrove,
Che dolce-ment' i piedi e gli occhi move,
Per questa de' bei colli ombrosa chiostra.

L'herbetta verde ei fior di color mille,
Sparsi sotto quell' elce antiqua e negra,
Pregan pur che'l bel pie li prem' o tocchi,

E'l ciel di vagh' e lucide faville,
S'accend' intorn' e'n vista si rallegra,
D'esser fatto seren da si begl' occhi.
