Edition notes: This is laid out for high tenors on the alto parts and can be transposed down a semitone or tone. The treble part is unusually low, perhaps responding to the sombre text. If transposed down, the tenor part is for a bass. This gives a scoring of TrMAABB. One of White's settings of Domine Quis Habitabit is for MMAABB, similarly omitting the tenor voice.

The tenor part has been lost except for two fragments in Paston sources. The rest has been reconstucted. There is a mean gymell at Omnis Populus
