Las, je cognois qu'il est trop veritable,
qu'au departir se trouve la douleur,
si vostre'amour n'est si ferm'et estable,
pendant l'absence je moray en langueur,
mais si volez me garder la faveur
en laquelle repose tout mon heur,
aussy verrez que ne suis variable,
et trouverez mon amour perdurable.
