Description: First published in Belknap's The Village Compilation, 1806, p. 113, for three voices: Treble-Tenor-Bass. Words by Isaac Watts, 1707, Hymn 103 of Book 1, in four stanzas. Belknap used the first two stanzas of Watts' hymn in his composition.
