Original text and translations

English.png English text The sacrifice of vernal men has kept this island free
Their blood was spilt on foreign fields, their breath expired at sea
We shan't forget their priceless gift, their loss won't be in vain
We honour and remember those young heroes who were slain

Lest we forget, lest we forget
Their blood was shed to keep us free
Lest we forget, lest we forget
We will remember them

The sacrifice our Saviour made frees us from death and sin
The blood He shed on Calvary will save us and our kin
We shan't forget His selfless love, His gift won't be in vain
We honour and remember Him, who lets us live again

Lest we forget, lest we forget
His blood was shed to set us free
Lest we forget, lest we forget
We will remember Him

The poppy's red reminds us of the lives too early shed
Let's love each other selflessly like those who for us bled
Who fought for freedom for their home and others' conquered shore
And know that Christ shall lift us up to live with them once more

Lest we forget, lest we forget
Their blood was shed to keep us free
Lest we forget, lest we forget
We will remember them
