General Information

Title: Let the words of my mouth
Composer: Maggie Furtak

Number of voices: 4vv   Voicing: SATB

Genre: SacredAnthem

Language: English
Instruments: A cappella

First published: 2012

Description: For Nancy and Leebo and Rosa. A nice gentle piece for those days when you feel a bit mellow. The soprano part never goes above an E flat. Plenty of places to breathe. Some dissonance and counterpoint, so not the easiest thing to sight-read, but very manageable. I've suggested dynamics, but they are suggestions only. The parts should listen to and respond to each other and keep a musical flowing line. Have fun! -Maggie

Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be always acceptable in Thy sight.
