Life

Born: 20 May 1824

Died: 1 August 1905

Biography

Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, Hensley graduated in 1846 as Senior Wrangler (1st in the Mathematics Tripos) and first Smith’s Prizeman. From 1846-52, he was a Fellow and Assistant Tutor at Trinity College. He took Holy Orders in 1851, and served as Curate at Upton-with-Clavey, Bucks; Vicar of Ippolyts-with-Great-Wymondley, Hertfordshire; Vicar of Hitchin, Hertfordshire; and Rural Dean, 1867.
